Oil Kings Elite AAA/AA Hockey League
The Leduc Junior Athletic Club (LJAC) is organizing the Oil Kings Elite 4 on 4 Hockey League at the Leduc Recreation Center.
The League will start April 1st if we are allowed with AHS and City of Leduc rules and will absolutely adhere to all guidelines and ensure the health and safety of all participants is our number one priority.
We have a lot of unknowns at this point, but we are committed to doing what we can within the AHS Guidelines. We are hopeful we can return to the 50 person cohorts and have 4 equal as possible teams play within a division. Registration space will be limited.
The Oil Kings Elite 4 on 4 Hockey League details
- 2 games per week between April 5st and May 31st (Approximately 16 games).
- 2 Divisions:
- U15 for “AAA/AA” players born in 2006/2007 and “AA” born 2008 players.
- 16+ for 2005 born players and above including active LJAC alumni.
- All divisions will be non-contact.
- The League will be 4 on 4 and will be "organized shinny" with rules designed to encourage fast fun hockey.
- Players will register as individuals and LJAC will divide the teams up as equally as possible.
- Priority will be given to LJAC players and players within our draw zone.
- Registration will be $500 per player based on 8 weeks and include referees, timekeepers and all proper insurances.
- A $50 refund will be provided for every week missed due to COVID restrictions .

We are not charging anything for you to pre-register, we are just wanting to get an idea of interest in the League. We will not charge any funds until we know the League can run within the Spring Health guidelines. We may need to max out our registrations numbers and priority will be given to those current LJAC players and those who pre-register. The registration deadline is TBD until we have a clearer picture of what the AHS regulations will be this Spring.
