U15AAA ID Camp
Leduc Junior Athletic Club is providing an opportunity for 56 (48 skaters and 8 goalies) 2007/2008 players located in our draw zone to have the opportunity to participate in its first U15 AAA ID Camp. Conducted by current U15 AAA Head Coach, Ryan Campbell and his coaching staff, this camp is designed for upcoming 2007/08 players to showcase their skills, work ethic and attitudes in preparation of making the final selection process for the 2021/22 U15 AAA team. Please read below for camp details.

Ø 5:00pm - 6:30pm Team 1 vs Team 2
Ø 8:00pm - 9:30pm Team 3 vs Team 4
· Saturday July 24th
Ø 10:00am - 11:30am Team 1 vs Team 3
Ø 11:45am - 1:15pm Team 2 vs Team 4
Ø 6:00pm - 7:30pm Team 1 vs Team 4
Ø 7:45pm - 9:15pm Team 3 vs Team 2
· Sunday July 25th
Ø 12:00pm - 1:30pm 3rd place vs 4th place
Ø 1:45pm - 3:15pm 1st place vs 2nd place
Players will be divided into 4 teams. Each team will play 3 round robin games (2 x 30-minute periods) at 4 vs 4 and depending on standings, 2 teams will play for the “A” final and 2 teams will play for the “B” final on Sunday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon your athlete will be given the opportunity to ask questions to LJAC alumni who are currently playing in the NHL, NCAA, WHL & Junior A about being a U15 AAA player for LJAC and what they can expect from the league, team and the organization. There will also be opportunities for parents to ask questions to LJAC executive and coaching staff throughout the weekend as well.
Your athlete will be given 4 ice times, off ice warmup led by certified trainers, snacks, apparel, skate sharpening and all games will have an athletic therapist in attendance. All for the low cost of $200.00
Deadline to register for this exciting opportunity is July 1st, 2021. We are only taking 56 players including goalies. There will be a separate registration for goalies so please make sure to register in the appropriate section. I have copied all Leduc Junior Athletic Club draw zone teams in this correspondence as well. If you could be so kind and forward this email to your 2nd year U13 players and your first year U15 AA players that would be greatly appreciated.
Please note that this is only for players who will be attending tryouts for the U15 AAA team in late August. We do realize that there are limited spots and not everyone will be able to attend. This will not hurt your athlete’s chances of making the U15 AAA team if they do not attend this skate. Once registration has closed an email will be sent to all registered families with more in-depth details regarding the weekend including team rosters.
