Woodbend Bantam AAA Oil Kings Name New Coach
The Woodbend Bantam AAA Oil Kings team have named Ryan Campbell of Edmonton their new Head Coach.
Ryan comes to us after five years with the SSAC where he was the head coach of the Bantam AAA team. Prior to that he was the Bantam AA coach at SSAC and the Midget 15AA head coach in 2014-15 and 2015-16. He was chosen coach of the year in 2015-16.
Ryan is HP 1 certified and has worked under a mentorship program with former NHL coach and U of A’s Billy Moore’s for the past four years - He comes highly recommended.
Ryan played three years with the Fort Saskatchewan Traders in the AJHL and attained a scholarship to the University of Alaska Fairbanks and then played professionally in Europe as well as with the Memphis River Kings (Central Hockey League) and the Columbia Inferno (East Coast Hockey league).
