Sunday - November 24, 2019

Arriving into Calgary on Sunday Morning, there was still a buzz in the room from game played the night before. They were ready to take on the Calgary Royals.  Both Teams came out playing very cautious against each  other and not much intensity or physical play.  There were few chances and both Goaltenders played very well.  Calgary Royals change the pace of the game and controlled most of the period in Leduc’s zone.  They scored first and quickly Leduc answered back with a goal by Cam Villetard.

The 3rd period, Leduc Changed gears and responded back with more pressure on The home team.  Both goaltenders shut the door all period long up until a late period penalty by Leduc.  Calgary Royals scored with 45 seconds left on the power play to take the lead.  Leduc had many chances in the dying seconds but could not solve the Royals netminder. Leduc’s Goalie Mason Gatz played his best game of the year but the team fell short on giving the netminder a very well deserved win.  The team has a week  off and will be at the Leduc Antique Society next Saturday volunteering and  giving back to the Community.
